Thank you! Glad to hear that you like our dogs. Yes, indeed we have had a good luck with our dogs backs and we tend to think that their less extreme structure is partly responsible for it. Genetics and lifestyle also count. This is not the breed that I would be doing a flyball with as dachshunds are somewhat predisposed to back problems because of their structure.
I just have to say I love your dogs and have been keeping an eye them since 2003.
ReplyDeleteI currently have a fiery mini wirehair who use to do agility and flyball until his genetics got the best of him.
Do you guys see fewer ortho and back issues in your dachshunds since they are built less extreme then their average american counterparts?
