Joeri's second trip to the farm

Monday was a busy day. We drove to Poughkeepsie to see Genti and Beth's puppies, which were sired by Tommy. You can watch the pups live on the Sheros' website. They look really good, and altogether we had  a great visit.

Before we got to Poughkeepsie we had stopped at the Beaverwood Farm, owned and run by John's son Paul and his partner Marilyn. John and Joeri were there a couple of weeks ago so Joeri was familiar with the setup. I was amazed how at ease he was with all the animals and dogs there. He was off leash all the time, and proved to be such a such a biddable and stable dog!

I took a lot of pictures there but here there is only room for few. Click on them to see a larger version. We counted and as it turned out there are 12 species living on a farm, mostly free roaming - cattle, horses, donkey, sheep, goats, pigs, chickens, ducks, geese, turkeys, lama and dogs. Joeri went after a turkey hen when she started to flap her wings but no major damage was done.

Tomorrow we will have an update on Remi - with pictures and a short video!
