Tracking dogs for finding wounded big game. Also dachshunds for blood tracking, field trials, their breeding, training and more.

Wild turkeys come for a visit
We knew that wild turkey hens have been around as we caught nice videos of them on our trail camera. I counted 24 of them in our field this morning. What a nice sight!
Majron, yes, we can hunt wild turkeys. There are two hunting seasons for them - in spring and fall. It was estimated that in 1959 there were only 2000 turkeys in the the New York State. But since then due to the diligent restoration and conservation work the populations has increased to about 300000. I didn´t know that you have wild turkeys. Can you hunt them??
