It is getting really cold
Elli says that tonight we are expecting -16F (-27C), so far the lowest temperature this winter.
Joeri playing in the snow on one of the warmer days.

How do the whitetails handle it when u have temps that low. Mule deer in those temps realy deplete thier fat rescoures quick and fawns will start die in as little as three weeks @ -10 justin
There are many subspecies of whitetails and this generalization does not cover them all. Northern whitetails develop good reserves of body fat in the fall and they tolerate temperatures as low as -40F for sustained periods. However they need evergreen-sheltered bedding areas, If the snow gets over 4 feet deep for sustained periods they cannot move around to feed upon browse, and then they starve in late winter.
