An evening walk ends with great pictures of the sky

It was a busy day, which was focused on blood tracking, but more about that tomorrow. This evening I went out with Asko, and while he was running rabbits I marveled over the beauty of the sky. Click on images to see enlargements.

Absolutley beautiful!! Your pictures make me think more about visiting New York, I live in North Carolina and have been no further north than Virginia no further west than Tennessee! It looks like a great place to be, beautiful flowers, mountain skies and lots of Wirehaired Dachshunds!! I have purchased my first Nikon DSLR camera and have alot of practice to get where your photography is!! Thanks for the beautiful photos to start my day

Samantha,
What a nice thing to say! Thank you! NY State is beautiful, and think you would enjoy your trip very much. Very often when people hear "New York" they think of the New York City. But for outdoors enthusiasts there is so much more here to see. We have the Catskills and Adirondacks. Take an aerial tour at http://visitadirondacks.com/first-time-visitors/aerial-tour.html
I wish I could travel more but with so many dogs as we have it is impossible.

Sky photos are so hard to get to look like what you really see but you did a stunning job! Absolutely lovely and I'm with Samantha, NY has never been a place I've thought I'd visit but seeing sights like this makes me reconsider! :)

Thank you! We live 20 miles south west of Albany (NY capital), and this is a rural area. Not suburbs, just rural. The weather is harsh and difficult in the winter, but summers are great. And the beauty of the surrounding Helderberg Hills can be breathtaking.
